Welcome! Let me introduce myself …

While I consider myself a chameleon with experience in journalism, marketing, and public relations, one common thread weaves everything together: My passion for storytelling.

As a child, I created “novels” I wrote in crayon on crumpled notebook paper. In high school, I developed an interest in news reporting, which led to my pursuit of a journalism degree in college. Eventually, that blossomed into my passion for copywriting as an adult. Whether I was reporting on the origins of a Cambridge-based ice cream shop or convincing travelers to book their next trip to Southeast Asia, I’ve loved every story I’ve had the opportunity to tell.

My pursuit of telling compelling, original stories has led me on a journey around the country. Originally from Texas—although you shouldn’t expect a southern drawl—I made the move up to Boston, MA in 2012 to study journalism at Emerson College. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and decided to stick around “Beantown” for three more years. I then moved to New York City in early 2019, which is where I currently reside. While moving around, I found outlets where I could create content about topics that fascinate me the most—from food and travel to fashion and entertainment news.

Now I work as a Senior Copywriter at LIFT, a marketing agency that develops high-performing ad campaigns for brands including Spectrum, Condé Nast, HelloFresh, and more.
